Christmas is coming~

Hi everyone!
It's December and.. Christmas is approaching!!

My idea for an easy gift would be making little monsters for my family and friends^^
These monsters have a few uses.. Being a paperweight, a stress ball or just as a decorative piece.

 

 Also made a few rainbow shaded pouches with spring clasp.

It's been a while!
How has everyone been doing?
I've been really busy..

But, I'm back with a baby dinosaur!
Well.. He doesn't really look like one I guess..

 

Next up is Mr. Kitty! He looks like he's modelling ^^

New requests!

Hi hi~

I am back with some new things^^

Had a request for corsages.
2 choices:
Pink or white roses with crystals in the middle for a simple look.

And so she chose pink roses on white straps.

The colour combination is so sweet~

I can't wait to see them on the pretty bridesmaids!

 

Next is the request for a tablet sleeve.

 

Blue toned sleeve with a super cute penguin button^^

Tried my hand again at amigurumi..
Guess what?

I absolutely love this 'mouldy' bear!! He is soooo cuddly!!

 

And of course not forgetting Mr Man! Though he seems to be a little too muscular in his chest >.<

My new bag.. Took quite a while as I could not sew the straps onto the bag..

Luckily mummy helped me with it.

Montie's history

How did it all start?


Montie was first introduced to the word of yarn in 2009.. Wow! it has been 4 years!
However she had no interest in it what so ever..

But, when  she acquired this bear in 2010, it all changed..

 

 

These were the 3 bears that changed Montie's thoughts of yarn.. The bear in the middle belongs to Montie ^^

Yet, Montie did not try to make amigurumi; or better known as knitted dolls. She felt that it was a hassle in having to attach different parts of the character together.

She started making other things that she felt was more useful.

This was the first thing she made, an ipod holder. Then she progressed to making bigger pouches.

Mobile phone pouches, card holders.. Then she felt more confident.. And made lots of Xmas themed tissue holder for her friends!

 

 

Then came the scarves..

 

 

And of course, Montie had to expand her horizons!

 

She tried making an amigurumi.. A little goldfish which looked way too weird..

 





Thus she gave up making amigurumi for the time being and concentrated on making bags and pouches..



 

 

With time, she improved..

 

  Then came the baby clothes..

 The first dress Montie made..

 Montie's first set of baby boy's apparel for her friend's prince..

The little accessories that appeared throughout..



 Flower rings that can be used in different ways~ Either for the finger or an add on for a pretty look on a pen..

 Bows for hair clips, simple rose corsages, heart shaped mini cushions..

 

Cushions are one of the newer additions to Montie's collection.

 

And not to mention, Minion beanies!
